Jonathan Gage Is Named Publisher of strategy+business Magazine

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW YORK, NY, April 17, 2006 — Booz Allen Hamilton today announced the appointment of Jonathan Gage, a longtime financial journalist and senior publishing executive, as publisher and business development director of strategy+business Media, the management publishing enterprise owned by the global strategy and technology consulting firm.

Gage is the former CEO of Institutional Investor. He has also served as New York-based enterprise and features editor of Bloomberg News, and as business and finance editor of the International Herald Tribune newspaper in Paris.

Gage joins Booz Allen as a principal in its Manhattan office and business development director of its intellectual capital offerings, including the award-winning quarterly management magazine strategy+business; strategy+businessBooks; and the magazine’s Web site (www.strategy-business.com). He reports to Randall Rothenberg, Booz Allen’s senior director of intellectual capital. As publisher and business development director of strategy+business media, Gage succeeds Will Lippincott, who left to become a partner in the New York literary agency Lippincott Massie McQuilkin.

Gage is on the board of FactBased Communications, a London-based media company that produces business, financial and economic content for television, Internet and wireless applications.

From 1999 to 2001, Gage was CEO and publisher of Institutional Investor, the leading U.S. professional-finance magazine. The group included a commercial research division and Web-site operation. Gage served on the executive board of Euromoney Plc, owner of Institutional Investor.

At the International Herald Tribune, he built and managed the worldwide financial reporting and editing staff of the Paris-based newspaper owned by The New York Times. Before joining the Herald Tribune, he wrote and edited for publications including the Los Angeles Times, Newsweek, the Washington Post and Psychology Today magazine.

strategy+business, which is sold on newsstands and by subscription, reaches more than 100,000 senior business executives worldwide. Alone among major business publications, s+b draws on a combination of journalists, academics, consultants, and corporate strategies for content.
